I asked ChatGBT to write a poem about dogs in the voice of Edgar Alan Poe. Here’s its response:
“The Hound of Darkness”
From out the shadows they do creep,
These faithful beasts we call our own,
With eyes that gleam in starlit sleep,
And hearts that fiercely beat alone.Their barks do echo through the night,
A symphony of mournful sound,
A lonely, eerie, piercing light,
That shakes the very ground.Their loyalty is second to none,
A love that knows no bounds,
For in their eyes, our setting sun,
Shall always be found. But let the darkness close around,
And shadows start to grow,
These hounds shall be our only guard,
Against the unknown below. So let them howl, let them sing,
These beasts of fur and bone,
For in the end, they shall be king,
And we, their faithful drones.

He/Him
When I first started writing, I was looking for a place to get feedback on my work. I wanted to find a community of writers who could help me improve my craft. But I quickly became frustrated with the sites I found. You know the ones that were either too superficial or too harsh.
I saw a need for a different kind of writing critique site. One that was based on mutual respect.
So I created Writer’s Critique. It’s a place where writers can meet other writers, collaborate, and get feedback on their work. It’s also a place where you can learn from editors, publishers, and other experts in the field.
No gimmicks. No karma points. Just write.
