ChatGPT in the Classroom Starting today, plagiarism detection software Turnitin includes new live AI-writing detection features that “identify the use of AI writing tools including ChatGPT, with 98% confidence,” the company said. Turnitin has been working on its AI-writing detection capabilities for nearly two years prior, and the team behind the new features spoke with THE Journal Insider podcast recently about the implications of ChatGPT on the future of writing instruction, literacy outcomes, and the evolving needs of tomorrow’s workforce.
